St. Francis of Assisi - a Roman Catholic Parish, School and Ministry in Concord, California
Established in July 1955 as Most Precious Blood Church, it became St. Francis of Assisi Church in the aftermath
of a 1982 fire that destroyed the old church. The new, beautiful church building was finished in 1985. It is my Parish since 1982.

Our Cross of San Damiano - a replica of the Cross of San Damiano in Assisi, Italy

Above tile pictures of the Risen Christ, 2 sets of Angels and Madonna -
- have been rescued from the ashes of Most Precious Blood Church and re-assembled to our new St. Francis of Assisi Church.
They all are original work of the late artist GEZA ST. GALY of Carmel, CA -
as well as all the tile STATIONS OF THE CROSS, also rescued from the old Church ashes.

Our Church has nearly 1000 square feet of the stained glass windows, designed by MAUREEN McGUIRE of Phoenix, AZ.
